HE CoLab – Beyond the traditional degree: Harnessing lifelong learners
February 4 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
With the forced move to flexible blended delivery you could argue that universities are better placed than ever to review the standard three- and four-year degree model. Though it’s anticipated the demand for a traditional degree will continue to be high, with the recent announcement about higher education loans, there may be additional demand for shorter flexible courses to support entry to the workplace and reskilling.
At this event we will:
- discuss how universities might effectively develop more flexible learning pathways that do not center around the traditional three- or four-year degree.
- look at innovative approaches to shorter, stackable programmes by public and private sector organisations.
- consider how universities might approach qualifications and badging with new delivery models.
